Recently we all have seen women and children on the Indian highways, walking to their homes hundreds of miles away. They left our cities when they lost all hope of help from us. While their fortitude and audacity is awe inspiring, their images will remind us for long that we let them down. Against so many odds, the good news is that some of them did reach their villages, where SAM works. But the bad news is that a few of them contacted Covid on the way.

We at SAM have decided to help them with cash and kind to tide over difficult times and ensure that they do not infect others. We request you all to donate to this special relief fund for migrant workers who are affected by Covid.
