04MarchSAM has started Implementation of the population stabilization program in 14 blocks of Bahraich district from 1 st January 2020. SAM has rented an office in Bahraich district. One Program manager, 11 field officers, and 15 field facilitators have joined in Bahraich. More field staff will join in March. The Program Manager, Gulab Yadav, met the senior public health officials, who have assured their support to SAM. The landscape of villages of all 14 blocks of the district has been completed. All villages of Jarwal and Kaiserganj blocks and 50% of the villages of the remaining 12 blocks have been selected to begin the program. A total of 731 villages have been grouped into multiple clusters for implementation. Two Days training the new field staff will be done by external master trainers in mid-March. After that the
selection and training of the village health volunteers will start.
