Congratulations to all the field workers of Gadag Karnataka. One more month has passed without a single maternal death during pregnancy in 167 villages of Gadag, Karnataka. Over the past 3 years, our cumulative maternal death rate is 15, which is better than the national average of 120. We have exceeded the sustainable development targets set by the UN. The maternal death numbers in Gadag are as good as many advanced countries including the USA.
